| Aplicación | E,E-2,4-hexadienyl acetate is a key component of sex pheromones in various fruit fly pests, such as the Mediterranean fruit fly and the Oriental fruit fly. It is released by females to attract males for mating. Currently, it has been developed through artificial synthesis technology into an efficient biomimetic lure, widely used in pest monitoring and trapping systems in orchards and vegetable production areas. By interfering with mating behaviour, it significantly reduces the damage rate of fruits, becoming a core technical method in the integrated green control of fruit fly pests. |
