Adoxophyes orana

Summer fruit tortrix (Adoxophyes orana)
拉丁名 Adoxophyes orana
通用名 Summer fruit tortrix
生物学特性 Adult moths are active at night and are phototactic, laying eggs on the undersides of tea leaves. Larvae roll leaves to feed, causing damage within leaf shelters and affecting tea quality and yield. They produce 4-5 generations per year, overwintering as larvae in mid-lower tea leaves or bark crevices.
危害 This pest primarily damages tea plants but may also damage apple and pear trees.
分布区域 Temperate fruit-growing regions
监测 Pheromone lures mimic natural sex pheromones to attract male insects into specialized traps for population monitoring and suppression. As a core IPM component, monitoring enables early risk detection and targeted control. Mass trapping reduces mating opportunities to curb offspring populations. Protocols: ●Use only with matched traps. ●15-45 traps/hectare,replace/replenish every 4-6 weeks. ●Wear gloves or wash hands with detergent when switching lure types. ●Refer to trap-specific hanging instructions.
推荐诱捕器 Delta Trap, Wing Trap
