The ECOPHERO Small Vane Trap is used with a lure selected for the target flying beetle species. Its vanes form an interception surface above a collection chamber. Beetles contacting the vanes can drop into the chamber below.
For crop monitoring, select the target beetle species and a suitable lure before deployment.
Select the lure and trap position for the target species and monitoring site. Assemble and install the trap according to the monitoring plan and lure instructions. During inspections, record the catch and check that the vanes and collection chamber remain unobstructed. Empty or clean the collection chamber as needed and replace the lure at the interval specified in its instructions.
