| Application | 1-Methoxy-4-(2-propenyl)-benzene, as a volatile aromatic substance released by plants, is a key synergistic component of the pheromone system of a variety of insects, especially coleoptera and lepidopteran pests (such as small silverfish and some borer moths), which can simulate the odour characteristics of female sex pheromones and strongly attract males, and has been widely used in the development of biomimetic traps for storage pests and fruit tree pests, and to achieve population control by interfering with mating communication or enhancing trapping effects. It has important application value in the green prevention and control system of agricultural pests such as fruit flies and beetles. |
