| Application | (E)-3-Tetradecenol acetate is primarily derived from female individuals of various moth species, such as the cotton bollworm and the fall armyworm, and is used to attract male moths for mating. In agricultural pest control, it is widely applied in two aspects: first, as a lure, it is used to monitor the population and activity patterns of target pests, providing a basis for pest control decisions; second, as a mating disruptor, it is released on a large scale to confuse male insects, preventing them from locating females for mating, thereby effectively reducing pest populations. |
