It is widely used for monitoring and controlling this globally distributed forest pest. By mimicking the natural chemical signals, this pheromone, when combined with traps, effectively attracts male moths. For instance, in China's port monitoring programs, each trap can capture dozens of male moths daily, achieving over 50% higher monitoring accuracy compared to traditional light traps. |
