| Application | E,E-8,10-Dodecadien-1-yl acetate is a synthetic straight-chain lepidopteran pheromone (SCLP) that mimics the natural sex pheromone produced by female codling moths (Cydia pomonella) and hazelnut worms. As the primary sex pheromone component of the codling moth, it disrupts mating by interfering with male orientation to females, thereby controlling pest populations in apple, pear, hazelnut, and other crops. |
